The idea came on an archery elk hunt in Nevada in 2023.

I was running a spotting scope, binos, and a camera off one tripod, and I got tired of how slow it was to switch between them. Back one off, thread the next on, and do it again. There had to be a better way.

I built a few prototypes and took them out later that fall on a Colorado elk hunt and a Nevada desert sheep hunt. Two very different kinds of country, and both taught me something. I've field tested every season since.

What came out of it is a patent-pending magnetic slide lock. One base on the tripod, a plate on each optic, and switching between them becomes second nature — glass to camera and back without taking your setup apart. Every piece is designed and built in Nevada to hold up in the country I tested it in.
